What is white balance?
The white balance allows you to use the camera properly to interpret the colours and brightness of your surroundings. If you film indoors under artificial light without adjusting the white balance, you may see that your picture has a murky looking amber tint. If you take a picture indoors without adjusting the white balance you end up with a overly blue tint.
